I invite you to your first dive in Cozumel, a place where you will feel calm and prepared. I’m your instructor and I’ll be with you every step of the way

Discover scuba diving in Cozumel with a safe and educational experience in a coral restoration area. Learn how to use the equipment, control your buoyancy, and communicate underwater. Your first certification: essential theory, in-water practice, and four open water dives. Master safety, buoyancy, and basic planning to dive up to 18 m with a buddy anywhere in the world, in the mean time we’ll teach you about conservation.

PADI® Advanced Open Water Diver

Improve your skills with five adventures: navigation, depth up to 30 m, peak performances bouyancy and options like night diving, underwater naturalist, and more. Gain confidence, control, and versatility for new environments and challenges.

PADI® Rescue Diver

Biography

I’m Miranda Ríos from Veracruz, now happily rooted in Cozumel. I fell for the ocean at sixteen, when coral restoration showed me how much our reefs need care. My first job as a snorkel photographer was eye‑opening I saw practices that hurt the reef and knew I wanted to do better.

That’s why I started Miri Adventures: small groups, respectful habits, and sharing the underwater magic with kindness and curiosity. I keep learning every year, most recently became Cave Diver and Tec Diver to guide safer, richer dives. We run 6+ tours and a cozy hostel, and we also create ocean projects with local kids and teens.

Most common questions

Winter 25-27°C (77–80°F). Spring 25.6- 28°C (78–82°F). Summer peaks 27-30°C (82–86°F). Fall 26.7-27.8°C (80–82°F). Most divers are comfy in a 3 mm suit, however we have both shorties and long sleeves wet suits to make you feel super comfortable.

No for try-dives. Discover Scuba includes a briefing and skills before a shallow reef dive. Certification is required for boat dives below 12 meters, beyond training depth or for advanced sites.

Take the 30–40 minute ferry to Cozumel, then a short taxi or 15min walk to our dive hostal Casa samay

Turtles, nurse and reef sharks, eagle rays (seasonal), splendid toadfish (native), rays, groupers, huge sponges and walls. Night dives bring out octopus and lobster.
